Salary: Up to £27,000 FT PA (pro rata) depending on experience.
Hours: 21 hours per week (typically across 4 days, some flexibility available)
Location: Home-based, with occasional travel for meetings

About Us
The Bowls Development Alliance (BDA) is a partnership organisation with a core purpose to sustain, grow and develop the sport of bowls in partnership with the bowls family.
Working with the National Governing Bodies for the sport and supported by Sport England, our focus is on increasing and sustaining participation, supporting clubs and volunteers, safeguarding participants, and ensuring the sport is welcoming, inclusive and accessible for everyone.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive Business Operations Manager to provide operational, administrative and governance support across the organisation.
This is a varied and key role, working closely with the Managing Director, Senior Management Team, working groups and the BDA Board to support the effective running of the organisation.
You will have excellent communication skills and strong administrative experience and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. You will also be confident coordinating workload, supporting organisational processes and getting involved in projects as we continue to develop and grow our work.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in business administration and supporting organisational operations
- Is highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Enjoys working with people, building positive internal and external relationships
- Can contribute to the coordination and delivery of organisational projects
- Has a flexible, proactive and solution-focused approach
A background working with volunteers or in sport is helpful but not essential.
