John has been fortunate enough to live and work in several countries throughout the world and developed an understanding of cultural similarities and differences. This has included participation in several sports sharing experience with many nationalities.
John’s two passions are sport and inclusivity and as a qualified coach in both lawn green bowls and the Paralympic sport of Boccia, he has been able to combine the two by introducing previously inactive diverse communities into sports.
He believes that membership of the Bowls Inclusion Advisory Group provides a great opportunity for himself and the rest of the group to broaden the base of people participating in our sport.
