Our Week of Learning Programme offers free webinars to members of any club affiliated to Bowls England, the English Indoor Bowling Association, the English Short Mat Bowling Association or the British Crown Green Bowling Association.
If your club is not affiliated, please visit your National Governing Body website to find out how you can affiliate to make the most of our free resources for clubs.
Registration for each session will be open up until the morning of the session. You can register for you free space by clicking on the links below. Once registered, you will receive an email with the session link and further information.

The Disciplinary Process – British Crown Green Bowling Association
Devised for BCGBA clubs, this workshop aims to run through the disciplinary process.
Bowls Big Weekend: Top Tips to Success – hosted by Bowls England and the British Crown Green Bowling Association
One of our top priorities is to increase participation in lawn bowls by making our sport more accessible. Bowls’ Big Weekend, sponsored by Aviva, is our co-ordinated national recruitment campaign, giving people across the country the opportunity to play the sport for free in a relaxed, informal setting.
In 2025, Bowls’ Big Weekend will run from Friday 23rd to Monday 26th May, when affiliated clubs across the country will open their doors to enable new participants to discover everything that is great about our sociable, accessible sport.
Delivering a successful Bowls’ Big Weekend event involves careful planning, organisation, and a focus on creating an enjoyable experience for all participants.
What will you achieve?
This session provides key tips and tricks on how to run a successful open event ensuring new people enjoy positive experiences, wish to come back and get involved with your Bowls Club through a variety of opportunities.

Delivered by Coach Bowls, discover how you can help your club become more user-friendly, and encourage your members be more aware of the challenges for people affected by dementia.
The word ‘dementia’ describes a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language. These changes are often small to start with, but for someone with dementia they may become severe enough to affect daily life. A person with dementia may also experience changes in their mood or behaviour.
